A two-bedroom Lower Maisonette, located in close proximity to Oval Stadium, presented a unique challenge for this refurbishment project. The client's primary objective was to transform this space into a serene and functional home.

Working closely with the client, we developed a comprehensive brief that served as the foundation for our conceptual design. Our plan included the addition of a new bathroom, achieved by converting the under-stair storage area and creating a niche in the narrow entrance hallway. These changes allowed for the incorporation of a shoe bench and custom joinery, effectively expanding the usable space.

One of the project's key challenges involved coordinating with various stakeholders to relocate electrical components from the under-stairs storage and implementing a waterproofing system to create a spacious and upscale ensuite within a limited space.

Additionally, bespoke joinery solutions were designed and crafted to seamlessly blend aesthetics with practicality. The end result is a successful transformation that not only enhances the quality of life for the client but also provides an inviting space for them to create cherished memories in their new home.
